UCLA EPSS regularly conducts outreach events and programs with various communities, both within the greater Los Angeles region and beyond.
Past events have included: an outreach day for over 150 K-12 students in the Saturday Science Academy run by Charles Drew University in South Los Angeles; Exploring Your Universe, an annual science fair held in UCLA’s Court of Sciences; and various booths at UCLA’s First Thursdays Westwood Wonder, wherein students got to peer at the cosmos through telescopes, infrared technology, and science demonstrations.
