The EPSS Department leads many field trips for research and teaching purposes, often requiring personal hiking and camping gear. To ensure all students can participate in these trips, the department offers an inventory of basic field/camping gear that can be borrowed by UCLA students at no cost. The program is operated on the honor system and requires only signing-in and signing-out of equipment. Students interested in borrowing gear for an upcoming field trip can ask request access to the departmental gear from their professors or can email daym@epss.ucla.edu
